Do you have experience in electrical engineering and want to take the next step in your career? At Gantner Instruments, you’ll leverage your practical know-how and deliberately develop toward planning and project responsibility.

As a Electrical Project Technician, you will plan and implement customer-specific measurement systems. You will support projects from the technical concept phase through to commissioning. This includes electrical planning, control cabinet construction, measurement data acquisition, component selection, cost calculation, procurement, and functional testing.

To strengthen our international team in Schruns, Austria, we are looking for a Electrical Project Technician (m/w/x) on a full-time basis.

Your profile:
  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or electronics (apprenticeship, technical college, or HTL)
  • Experience in electrical planning and control cabinet construction
  • Solid practical understanding of electrical systems, cabling, and wiring
  • Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks) and EPLAN is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding and a solution-oriented approach
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with customers, sales, purchasing, and production teams
  • Team-oriented personality with a practical, hands-on mindset
What You Can Expect:
  • Planning and design of customer-specific measurement systems in collaboration with customers and the sales team
  • Technical coordination of customer requirements and development of suitable system solutions
  • Creation of control cabinet layouts, assembly plans, circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams
  • Mechanical assembly, installation, cabling, and wiring of the systems
  • Performing functional tests
  • Technical support for projects from planning through to commissioning
  • Ensuring compliance with standards and quality requirements
