Our Company Timeline – from an Alpine valley to the world
Gantner Instruments has been building measurement technology since 1982. Today the company is a family-owned international group, with development and manufacturing in Europe.
- 2004 — Gantner Instruments becomes an independent company
Building on two decades of Gantner measurement technology, Gantner Instruments sets out as an independent company in Austria and Germany, with headquarters in Schruns, in Austria’s Montafon valley. - 2008–2010 — Subsidiaries in India and the USA
Gantner Instruments establishes its own subsidiaries in India and the USA, bringing local engineering and support to two key growth markets. - 2010 — Gantner Instruments Environment Solutions GmbH founded in Germany
A wholly owned subsidiary for monitoring and control of renewable energy plants — today active worldwide in large-scale solar plants and battery storage systems. - 2012–2016 — Offices in China, Singapore, and Sweden
Three new locations extend the group’s reach across Asia and Northern Europe. - 2020–2023 — 3,000 m² expansion in Germany
The expansion strengthens production and logistics capacity for faster, more flexible delivery. - 2025 — A record year: new offices and revenue above €50 million
The group opens offices in France and Spain, grows revenue by 25 percent to more than €50 million, and now counts a team of 160. The headquarters in Schruns serves as the technological and organizational hub of the international group.
Innovative Solutions for Data Acquisition in Test and Measurement Technology
Our solutions are ideal for applications such as collecting physical data to monitor load and stress on bridges, measuring vibration and displacement of railway tracks, testing aircraft structure integrity and engine performance, monitoring energy generation assets (e.g. hydro, wind, solar) and measuring energy stored (e.g. batteries).
