The Battery Show Europe 2026

In August, we set aside an afternoon at Gantner Instruments and asked the entire company the same question: what should we build next? More than 25 ideas came back, three minutes each, no scoring and no ranking. Anyone could present: development, production, calibration, sales, support, administration. The only rule was that an idea had to be explained in the time it takes to make a coffee.

Gantner Instruments has won a major contract with KU Leuven, Belgium’s largest and one of Europe’s most prestigious universities, to supply advanced data acquisition (DAQ) systems for the ConstrucThor project. Together with its local sales partner CN Rood, Gantner Instruments secured a framework agreement covering multiple DAQ systems for this flagship research facility in sustainable construction.

Gantner Instruments provided the data acquisition system required for their Colossus Static Fire System Test Stand. This full test system is complete with Gantner’s Q.station PLC controller, precision DAQ modules for TC, Voltage, Current, Resistance and Pt100.

By 2050 we need to become a carbon-neutral society, and the aviation sector needs to contribute. While flying less can help reduce emissions, we have options for cleaner air travel. For one, we could power our flight with electricity or hydrogen, which are no longer ideas in some futuristic science fiction novel. Rather, they are on the brink of generating a shift in aviation technology.
