L&#8217;\u00e9chelle n&#8217;est pas petite : l&#8217;inventaire des ponts aux \u00c9tats-Unis se compte en centaines de milliers. <\/p>\n\n<p>Un point de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence utile : Les r\u00e9sum\u00e9s de l&#8217;\u00e9tat des ponts am\u00e9ricains provenant de l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhwa.dot.gov\/bridge\/nbi.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">inventaire national des ponts (NBI)<\/a> indiquent que des dizaines de milliers de ponts sont en mauvais \u00e9tat (souvent d\u00e9crits comme &#8220;structurellement d\u00e9ficients&#8221;), ce qui met la pression sur les agences et leurs entrepreneurs pour qu&#8217;ils am\u00e9liorent la fa\u00e7on dont les d\u00e9cisions en mati\u00e8re de structure sont justifi\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi se concentrer sur les \u00c9tats-Unis ? Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me de mesure fiable qui doit rester digne de confiance tout en surveillant continuellement les actifs pendant de longues p\u00e9riodes (au moins 10 ans), ind\u00e9pendamment des changements de personnel, de l&#8217;\u00e9volution des mod\u00e8les et de la survenue d&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>Un d\u00e9ploiement typique de SHM aux \u00c9tats-Unis combine :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>D\u00e9formation<\/strong> (jauges de contrainte \u00e0 feuille, fil vibrant, pont\/quart de pont)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration \/ vibration<\/strong> (acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tres IEPE, MEMS le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9placement \/ inclinaison \/ fissure<\/strong> (LVDT, string pots, inclinom\u00e8tres, fissurom\u00e8tres)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temp\u00e9rature + environnement<\/strong> (RTD\/thermocouple, humidit\u00e9, vent, niveau d&#8217;eau, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gantner-instruments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/analog-q-series-x-signals-1024x326.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-94886\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gantner-instruments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/analog-q-series-x-signals-1024x326.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.gantner-instruments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/analog-q-series-x-signals-300x96.png 300w, https:\/\/www.gantner-instruments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/analog-q-series-x-signals-768x245.png 768w, https:\/\/www.gantner-instruments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/analog-q-series-x-signals.png 1470w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>Pour conserver leur valeur au fil des ans, ces signaux doivent \u00eatre.. :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pr\u00e9cision et stabilit\u00e9<\/strong> \u00e0 travers les cycles de temp\u00e9rature et les conditions de terrain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alignement temporel sur<\/strong> l&#8217;ensemble de la structure (et sur les sites distribu\u00e9s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>enregistr\u00e9es avec des m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es<\/strong> afin que les donn\u00e9es soient r\u00e9utilisables pour les \u00e9valuations de charge futures, les mises \u00e0 jour de mod\u00e8les et les audits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Si l&#8217;un de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments s&#8217;effondre, si les z\u00e9ros d\u00e9rivent, si les horloges sont m\u00e9lang\u00e9es ou si la mise \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle n&#8217;est pas document\u00e9e, la confiance dans l&#8217;ensemble du programme SHM s&#8217;\u00e9rode.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le tueur cach\u00e9 du SHM : l&#8217;alignement temporel<\/h3>\n\n<p>De nombreux syst\u00e8mes SHM &#8220;tombent en panne sans faire de bruit&#8221;, non pas parce que les capteurs meurent, mais parce que les horloges d\u00e9rivent.<br\/>Si la d\u00e9formation, le d\u00e9placement et l&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration sont \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9s \u00e0 des \u00e9chelles de temps diff\u00e9rentes, les erreurs apparaissent exactement l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les \u00e9quipes am\u00e9ricaines ont le plus besoin des donn\u00e9es : lors de la corr\u00e9lation des \u00e9v\u00e9nements et de l&#8217;extraction de la dynamique.
