r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 photovolta\u00efque par l&#8217;augmentation de la dur\u00e9e de vie, comme le souligne l&#8217;initiative de l&#8217;industrie solaire europ\u00e9enne (SEII), est un facteur cl\u00e9 qui permettra d&#8217;augmenter encore l&#8217;adoption de cette technologie. Cet objectif peut \u00eatre atteint en am\u00e9liorant la fiabilit\u00e9 et la performance de la dur\u00e9e de vie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une surveillance constante, solide et tra\u00e7able des syst\u00e8mes install\u00e9s, ce qui a un impact direct sur le co\u00fbt d&#8217;investissement, le co\u00fbt nivel\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 (LCoE) et, en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, sur la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie photovolta\u00efque. En ce sens, l&#8217;un des principaux d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever pour garantir la qualit\u00e9 du fonctionnement, en particulier pour les syst\u00e8mes photovolta\u00efques raccord\u00e9s au r\u00e9seau, est de pr\u00e9server la fiabilit\u00e9 et les bonnes performances en identifiant et en quantifiant avec pr\u00e9cision les facteurs \u00e0 l&#8217;origine des diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9canismes de perte de performance, tout en d\u00e9tectant et en diagnostiquant les d\u00e9faillances potentielles \u00e0 un stade pr\u00e9coce ou avant qu&#8217;elles ne se produisent, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une surveillance robuste des performances, \u00e0 la d\u00e9tection des d\u00e9faillances et \u00e0 la maintenance pr\u00e9ventive. l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Chypre (UCY), a mis sur pied une \u00e9quipe charg\u00e9e de d\u00e9velopper un syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le des performances photovolta\u00efques \u00e9quip\u00e9 de divers algorithmes de contr\u00f4le avanc\u00e9s pour d\u00e9tecter et diagnostiquer les d\u00e9faillances potentielles, les pertes de performances et les m\u00e9canismes de d\u00e9gradation dans les propri\u00e9taires\/investisseurs. Le syst\u00e8me qui fournira la premi\u00e8re solution de base compl\u00e8te et ind\u00e9pendante pour assurer la qualit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle et optimiser la production d&#8217;\u00e9nergie comprendra un capteur structurel complet et une plate-forme d&#8217;acquisition de donn\u00e9es avec des capacit\u00e9s d&#8217;\u00e9chantillonnage \u00e9lev\u00e9es, de grandes bases de donn\u00e9es de stockage et un portail web avanc\u00e9 pour incorporer les algorithmes de quantification des pertes de performance, des routines de d\u00e9faillance et de la d\u00e9gradation issus de la recherche pour une analyse en temps r\u00e9el. This WP also foresees a number of visits for activity coordination between the partners and to cultivate close collaboration.<\\\/p><\\\/div><\\\/div>\",\"<div class=\\\\\\\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\\\\\\\" ><div class=\\\\\\\"wpb_wrapper\\\\\\\"><p class=\\\\\\\"font_weight_regular\\\\\\\">Formulation and benchmarking (WP2)<\\\/p><p>\\u2026of innovative guidelines and algorithms for the detection and diagnosis of performance losses and failures.<\\\/p><p>The scope of WP2 is the formulation of monitoring guidelines on the acquisition and analysis of PV performance data-sets for the development of innovative algorithms for the diagnosis of performance losses and FDRs, based on previous relevant work performed at the UCY. It is imperative that in order to detect failures and performance losses the data-sets sampled and acquired will be at a high resolution (1-5 minutes), thereby extending the measurement requirements beyond the recommendations of the IEC 61724 standard, for measurement, data exchange and performance analysis of PV systems. Typical measurements will include meteorological (total irradiance in the plane of the array, ambient and module temperature, wind speed and direction), PV system side (voltage, current and power) and utility side (grid voltage, current, power, outage duration period). Different algorithms will be developed in order to identify and quantify system performance losses due to thermal and irradiance behaviour, soiling, shading, string mismatch, bypass diode effects, inverter failures and insulation faults, non-optimal maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and unexpected trends. The algorithms will perform real-time comparisons against known failure profiles and performance effects, threshold levels and modelled expected performance in order to first identify the loss and then quantify the effect. For the development of FDRs the system will comprise of the failure detection tool and the failure profiling and footprint methods. The routines will evaluate patterns of energy loss by creating profiles and comparisons with predefined profiles of frequently known failures such as hot spots, bypass diodes, inverter faults, grid outages and others. The results obtained at the test site of the UCY will be verified against other rating methods such as the Photovoltaics for Utility Scale Applications (PVUSA). The development of long term degradation models is another focal point of this WP. The degradation models will comprise of a complete procedure starting from data acquisition and filtering, outage correction and time series analysis with techniques such as classical seasonal decomposition, ARIMA and rPCA for the real-time calculation of the degradation rate of PV systems. The capacity of the algorithms to estimate degradation, even at early stages, will be verified initially against installed systems at the test site in Cyprus and against indoor standard test condition (STC) methods and apparatus present at the UCY. The prediction will be further trained and will incorporate historical acquired data of the developed performance loss algorithms, improving the initial prediction. The forecast will be implemented with machine learning algorithms that will provide 24 hour ahead spatial energy production forecasts based on NWPs. The improved product will focus on data consistency, real time analysis and will further offer a categorised view of the losses (optical, temperature, soiling, angle of incidence, degradation), an evaluation of the behaviour in relation to weather and long term degradation. In this way, additional indicators regarding performance guarantees, preventive maintenance and suggested O&M actions will be enabled. In particular, two existing GI customers have already expressed their interest in utilising the proposed solution for their systems and as a result historical performance data-sets will be initially provided by them to act as the reference scenario.
