New multifunctional measuring module for Q.series

With its 4 parallel inputs the A107 module offers high packing density (module width 27 mm) and simultaneously high functionality. Each of the 4 electrically isolated, multifunctional inputs measures voltages, currents and resistances as well as signals from thermocouples, Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors, potentiometers and strain gauge full bridges. Half and quarter bridges (three wire circuit) can also be connected with a special connection terminal.

The signals from each channel are digitized at 10 kHz with 24 bit resolution. The 4 measuring channels can be configured independently of one another e.g. two measuring bridges, one Pt100, and one potentiometer, and offer comprehensive signal conditioning:

• 4^th order digital filter for high pass or low pass configuration
• Custom curve linearization (curve import e.g. from Excel)
• Averagingg
• Capture of minimum and maximum
• Other arithmetic features for calculation of items such as total or differential values (F1 + F2)
• Alarm or limit monitoring

The 4 channels are synchronized very precisely with one another as well as with channels in other modules; the maximum jitter is 5 µs.

Together with other measuring modules in the Q.series and the Q.gate or Q.pac test controllers it is possible to put together individual, high performance, compact measuring systems at a very attractive price.
