HORIBA ATS chooses Q.series

In view of the increasing acceptance of EtherCAT interfaces in the test bench sector, HORIBA ATS, the leading manufacturer of test benches in automotive circles, chose the Q.raxx series slimline 19" units.

The module Q.raxx concept makes it possible to construct slide-in modules equipped for specific customers. HORIBA ATS offers its customers measuring systems with inputs for voltage, thermocouples and Pt100 sensors, as well as with built-in pressure transducers.

Each 19" slide-in module with height of 1 HU has an integrated test controller with one Ethernet TCP/IP and one EtherCAT interface, allowing input and output data to be read and written at a rate of 10 kHz. The measuring modules used are robust and suitable for industrial use; the ADU resolution is 24 bits.

Comprehensive market studies and tests preceding the final decision convinced HORIBA ATS of the functionality and quality of the Q.series with its attractive price/benefit ratio.
