General Motors decides for A&D and e.series

Gantner Instruments is pleased to inform that A&D Technology was selected by General Motors (GM) to supply 64 systems for the new state-of-the-art battery test-lab. The Global Battery Systems Lab will be used to develop and test nickel-metal-hydride and lithium-ion technologies for hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric vehicles and fuel-cell powered cars and trucks. The A&D test automation system coordinates thermal chambers, power process systems and conditioning units, and interfaces with battery control modules and lab safety systems.
As a partner of Gantner Instruments A&D is using measurement and I/O technology based on e.series for this systems.
Flexibility, reliability, precision, easy handling and above all the excellent support are the reasons why A&D selected Gantner Instruments as a supplier for its data acquisition system. The success at GM shows again the strength of this partnership. The future concept of the Chevrolet VOLT includes a little of Gantner’s e.series.
