24.07.2007 Worldwide longest and highst cable stayed bridge e.series is used for measurements at this unique bridge in the South of France   Length 2460 , High 343 m, Weight 205000 t, costs 400 Mio €     At the Highway A75 from Paris to Barcelona in the section Clemont-Ferrand the Viaduc Millau bridgeover the Vallée du Tarn. During the construction of the bridge e.g. 160 thermocouples monitored the temperature of the concrete during the process of setting. Today the measurement of vibrations, forces, displacements and meteorological quantities is permanently done with about 80 e.bloxx modules, placed over the whole distance of the bridge. Test Controller e.gate synchronizing the measurements and transfer them via optical link to the controll center. e.series was selected because it provides a synchronized data acquisition in a remoate system on a high quality level.
