The new e.pac DL of Gantner Instruments communicates with the measuring and I/O-modules and read so measuring values, states and other process values, allocates, combines, evaluates, transmits and gives analogue or digital signals back to the process back to recording. New is also, that the new programmable automation controller e.pac DL offers 128 MByte configurable data memory, USB port and various possibilities of communication, e. g. eMail, GPRS, VPN.
The measured and conditioned data with different rates and trigger functions will be stored in the 128 MByte data memory in indepent archives.
The data acquisition in the modules and the PAC happens synchronized with 1 kHz. The open data structure offers totally integration into automation systems, access to all parameters and variables (FTP-functionality).

Please use four fast multi functional analog inputs and four analog outputs, as well as the possibility to run conditioning, combination of signals, control functionalities, processing, mathematical calculations and data logging autarkic (PAC). e.xact offers eight configurable digital inputs and outputs for thresholds, alarm, reset, trigger aso. and in addition 16 MByte memory depth, dividable with individual memeory depth, sample interval and trigger conditions.
The module features a Slave interface for the connection of more e.bloxx modules as well as a Profibus-DP and Ethernet interface.

The graphic possibilityof programming procedures, calculations, sequences, combinations (PAC) and particularly of the flexible management of the 128 MByte data memory is very attractive for the user. The logger can log at non-stop operation with 1 Hz power failure safe e. g. all 8 input signals over a period of approx. 45 days.
For a lot of applications with long-term monitoring it is enough, e. g. to collect and store only each minute or all 10 minutes values. In the so-called sleep-mode it is possible through periodical tuning off and rewake of the logger to reach an average power of only 100 mV (4 mA at 35 V). This low power requirement allows the net independent supply of the device with solar energy, batteries or fuel cells in nature.
The device offers several communication interfaces, like RS 485 (3x'), RS232, Ethernet or eMail generator with measurement data as attachemaent. |  | | | |  |
